Your Reunion Committee has been busy preparing another outstanding round of events for 2008. We suffered a great loss in December with the death of our “sparkplug”, Dick Alger, but were fortunate to bring aboard a fine replacement in Jon Hurt. Last month, Jon picked up the registration account when Ernie Evans left for the west coast and a series of radiation treatments for his cancer. We expect to have Ernie back in a couple of months.
In the meantime, we’ve logged 348 registered attendees and are sending out reminders to another 160 (83 classmates) who had answered our first announcement saying they planned to attend. If you are one of those who misplaced your registration form, you will be receiving a postcard reminder soon. As for those who had indicated they would not be attending, we hope you will consider the fact that the next reunion is 7 years away! Let’s get together before it’s too late. You can still sign up for 2008 -- Just call any committee member, and we’ll take care getting you registered. Don’t wait -- your classmates want to see you.
