In anticipation of this evenings Luau I am prompted to share the greatest recipe for Mai Tai.Classmates have probably tired one of the many, such as those served at King Kamehameha Hotel in Kailua-Kona; The Rusty Harpoon in Kaanapali, Maui; Pat's at Punaluu; Trader Vic's; or the Chart House. However during my tours in Hawaii I found the following to be my favorite"
1 3/4 oz Light Rum
3/4 oz Dark Rum
3/4 oz Curacao
1/4 oz Grenadine
1/4 oz Orgeat
1/4 oz Lime Juice
1 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1 1/2 oz Orange Juice
1 1/2 oz Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
1/4 Teaspoon Superfine Sugar
