Death of of Rheta Hodges Wells (Wife of John Wells - 23rd Company)

Rheta Hodges Wells, 77, of Annapolis, died Tues. evening, Feb. 24, 2009, of cancer at the Hospice of the Chesapeake Mandrin House, Harwood. She retired from the Maryland State Income Tax Department and devoted her leisure time to volunteering with both the Anne Arundel Medical Center Auxiliary and the staff at Hospice of the Chesapeake. She is survived by her husband, John E. Wells, and one sister Ruth Lougee of Leonardo, N.J, numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service is being planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her name to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy., Annapolis, MD 21401.
