San Diego Reunion Registration
54’s 57th Reunion San Diego, July 14-17 2011 is rapidly approaching as all of us are on the verge of becoming, or are, octogenarians and; and sadly, our numbers are decreasing at an ever increasing rate. This could well be the last opportunity for many of us to get together to renew those memorable 1950-1954 years on the Severn.
Your reunion committee has developed what promises to be a fabulous agenda to reunite our class. We hope each of you will attend. Please spread the word to others.
The reunion registration form is below. Please follow the directions to print. Then fill out completely and mail with your check to Bob Rogers as indicated.
Our headquarters and hotel for the reunion is the Manchester Grand Hyatt (ManchesterGrand.Hyatt.com) located on the waterfront in downtown San Diego, close to the USS MIDWAY, the venue for our banquet the final night. We have been provided reduced rates at the Hyatt of $199 (plus taxes/fees) per night for the nights of 14, 15, and 16 July. This guaranteed rate will be extended for three days on either side of these dates on an “as available” basis. San Diego always is a very popular as a tourist/convention destination, particularly in mid-summer so you are urged to make reservations at the Hyatt now. Call our reservations manager, Kara , direct line: (619)358-6727. Make sure you tell her your reservations are for the U.S. Naval Academy, class of 1954 reunion.
The highlights of the reunion are depicted on the registration form and detailed information of the agenda, specific times, locations, weather, attire, etc. will be sent about one month prior to the reunion. To accommodate the 2%, “failure to get the word” syndrome, it is suggested that everyone telephone or e-mail their first class roommates and urge them to to join us for what certainly will be a great 54’s 57th Reunion San Diego. The success of our reunion will be your presence.
SEE YOU IN SAN DIEGO!
