I received the following email from John Ferrer, Class of 1982

Will, Attached are photos from my Father’s ash interrment ceremony 24 June at the Academy Columbarium. It was a beautiful day, not too hot and none of the humidity that I remembered from plebe summer. The Class of 54 had a great turnout, and the family loved meeting everybody. Before the 24th, I only knew of COL Ernie Evans, USMC (Ret) through my father’s stories - but as everyone knows, roommates have more stories than most children have the attention span for. So it was an honor and a privilege to meet and talk in person finally.
