Obituary for George Bole

Captain USN (Ret.) George T. Bole died peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, in Jupiter, Fla. He was born in Canton, Ohio, attending Lincoln High School and The Ohio State University, before graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1954. He had a successful career as a naval aviator before a career in sales/management in several companies. He loved south Florida, was a friend to many, and prided himself on being a loving husband and family man
.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anne and four children, Bruce, Scott, Katherine and Clark; a sister, Barbara Koenig; a brother, Thomas Bole; and seven grandchildren. He will be missed by many.
A memorial service was conducted at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, Fla., on Saturday, Sept. 1. He was buried at sea.
