I was not aware that Bill had died. He was a year ahead of me at St Paul's which I left after 7th grade. We next met at the Pentagon where he wound up in my department where I was Director, Telecommunications and Command & Control Systems. Being acquainted so many years before our work together at the pentagon, Bill and I enjoyed a renewed friendship. He joined our amazing trip through the Pacific at the behest of Admiral Noel Geyler, CINCPAC, in which we visited Hawaii, Guam, Manila, the island base at Diego Garcia, and the DMZ in Korea. Bill had a great career in the Navy, and I was privileged that we were able to work together in 1976, 1977. Dick Shriver
