ROURKE, Charles Kane Age 80, of Natick, formerly of Wellesley, died peacefully at his home on May 24, 2013, after a lenghthy illness. He is the son of the late Charles F. Rourke and Estelle (Bush) of Richmond Hill, NY. Mr Rourke was the beloved husband of 40 years of Leah (Pedroli) Rourke. He leaves 3 children, daughter Kayne Wilk and her husband Daniel of Brooklyn, NY, daughter, Allison Rickenbach and her husband Brett of Danvers, MA, and a son Charles F. Rourke II of Brighton. He also leaves a grandson Jack F. Wilk. Mr. Rourke was a graduate of the United States Naval Academy Class of 1954 serving the last years of his naval career on the submarine, The USS Atule, and Harvard Business School Class of 1962. He was a management consultant at the former Harbridge House Inc., and later a financial advisor for the New England Financial. Mr. Rourke was a member of the Society of Colonial Wars, former trustee of the United States Naval Academy and the Ward Room Club. Past member of the Corporation of the New England Baptist Hospital. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rte 16) WELLESLEY, Wednesday at 12 Noon. Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Wellesley, at 12:30 pm. Visitation prior to the Mass from 10:30-12 noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Private interment at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charles' name to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston; or Peoples First Home Care and Hospice, 130 Rumford Ave., Suite 211, Auburndale, MA.
