I wanted to let you know that my dad, Ed Stevens, passed early yesterday morning after an eight plus year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He passed peacefully in his sleep.
We will be having the funeral mass Saturday June 22, 10:00 am at St. Francis Cabrini Church (3201 E. Presidio Road, Tucson, AZ, 85716). The mass will be followed by a memorial service/reception/celebration of my father's life. At my father's request, we are having him cremated. We have not yet made arrangements or set a time/location for the dispersal of the ashes.
My mom is doing well. She is sad, but knows that my dad is at peace after a long, hard struggle.
