USNA 54 2016 Mini Spring Reunion and SNOWBIRD is a "GO"; details to join us follow

WHO: All USNA 54 Alums, wives and widows

WHEN: 5-7 April 2016

WHERE: On the base at NAS Jacksonville, Florida

ACCOMADATIONS: Gateway Inns and Suites, their T-Bar, O'Club, Golf Course with Mulligans Café (all walking distance).

EVENTS:

* Tuesday 5 April 5-8 PM: Welcome Aboard Party on the T-Bar Deck on the St. Johns River. Cocktail Buffet and bar available ($10 per person).

* Wednesday 6 April. Mulligans Cafe available for breakfast and lunch, mid morning golf round for golfers, local tours or relaxing for all others until 6 PM at our Class Buffet Dinner Party at the O'Club with bar available. ($45 per person). 

* Thursday 7 April. Mulligans Café available. Golfers play early round in time for all attendees to meet at the 1 PM Wrap up luncheon, prizes and group photo on the veranda in Mulligans Café ($10 per person). 

* Any attendee staying over Thursday evening are invited to Watson's home for cocktails. We can arrange a group dinner nearby for those interested.

NOTES:

* For any attendees not holding DoD ID Cards, please contact Tom Watson soon to make arrangements for base access.

* Lots of local attractions including Navy bases, museums, World Golf Village, St. Augustine, Amelia Island, beaches, excellent shopping.

* Pleasant weather expected (70-80's daytime, cooler in evenings). Relaxed fun and casual dress is the plan. Please encourage others to join us.

* Golfers...Frank Caroccio is arranging two rounds of golf with mixed scramble (Captain's Choice) to play for the SNOWBIRD XVI prizes (more details later but please let Frank know soonest if you are interested and what your handicap is).

WHAT TO DO:

1. Call and make reservations at the Gateway Inns Jacksonville  at (904) 542-3138 or 3139, tell the clerk you are with the 54 Reunion Group (the group confirmation number is 3112080 5005, Daily rates are $50 Standard Queen, $65 Standard Suite and $75 Executive Suite. These rooms are all in the river front building with the T-Bar conveniently on the ground floor).  These reservations may be made soonest to assure your preference is available.

2. Please email or call Tom Watson and/or Frank Caroccio with your questions and intentions. Tom is arranging all parties and needs your intentions to make these plans, Frank is in charge of Golf and will collect and manage all monies for parties. If you plan to attend any or all of the reunion, but will not stay in the Gateway Inns, also please let us know your plans.
